Horse Drawn Cab Co. have been operating for over 40 years and provide carriages and horses for all occasions.
We offer a horse drawn hearse service and
have supplied horses for the
John Allison Monkhouse hearse for 7 years back
in the 1990's.
Our horse drawn hearse is of modern construction with hydraulic brakes, indicators and laminated glass panelling, and it
is kept in excellent condition.
The interior is suitable for a casket of up to 2300mm x
890mm.
We have a selection of black or white horses available, adorned with ostrich feather plumes.
The hearse and horses are transported to any location in Victoria with a truck, and the RTA rating provides that all roadways are available for the
use of horse drawn vehicles with the exclusion of freeways.
The drivers are myself, John, or my wife Cheryle, and we are dressed in appropriate funeral attire.
We are very happy to carry your company name and logo  on the day of hire
(if applicable).
The price for use of this service in the Melbourne Metropolitan area is
$950.00 incl. GST.
We will transport to any location in Victoria, but this may incur a kilometre
charge for the truck.
